Evan Lee
Managing Partner
Evan Lee grew up in Houston, Texas on Portal Drive. His academic journey led him to pursue an undergraduate degree and MBA at Indiana University in Bloomington. Evan is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois.
Evan has a breadth of experience ranging from consulting to investment banking and private equity, where he has honed his expertise in financial strategy and management. He has served as CFO for both family-owned enterprises and private equity backed businesses.
Evan is skilled at navigating complex financial situations. He has led over 20 M&A transactions, ranging from several hundred thousand to $200MM+ in enterprise value.

PERSONAL INTERESTS
Evan and his wife, Lisa, live in Houston, TX. Their children are their pride and joy. In his spare time, Evan loves to watch and play sports. He can be found coaching or attending his kids’ games most weekends.
Evan is a devoted fan of the Indiana Hoosiers. He loves watching college basketball, football, and just about any other sport on TV. March Madness has become a fixture in Evan’s life, and he and his brother travel to Las Vegas yearly to watch the games.

Rick Stein
Partner
Rick Stein was born and raised in Houston, TX. He attended the University of Texas in Austin where he obtained a BBA degree in accounting and soon became a licensed CPA in the State of Texas.
Rick has a wide range of experience and knowledge including accounting, tax, business consulting and M&A. He was CEO of UHY Advisors (f.k.a. Mann Frankfort Stein & Lipp) before selling to BDO USA, LLP. Once Rick joined BDO, he used his M&A and operational knowledge to help successfully acquire and integrate 30+ businesses.
Rick currently serves as a board member of Sales, Marketing & Service and several non-profit organizations. Outside of working, Rick and his wife enjoy playing golf and traveling while also spending time with their children and grandchildren. Rick is also a long-time Astros, Rockets, Texans and Longhorn fan.
